ÖÖD x EAS

Enterprise Development Program (1st stage)

ÖÖD OÜ has so far produced and sold 6x3m mirror houses in a small format, but the demand for larger versions has started to grow. As a result, the ÖÖD team sees a need in product development to create larger ÖÖD mirror houses so that different customer segments would have a product for their needs.

PROJECT’S GOAL

The project aims to bring two new ÖÖD mirror houses to the market, in which customers have been of great interest. These products are:

  1. Larger hotel room
  2. Larger sauna house

After the completion of these products, the goal is to develop at least one new product in each subsequent year. The primary goal would be to bring to the market ÖÖD autonomous house, which has also been of great interest to customers, all the more so as the world is moving towards sustainability. It is planned to start the development of this product after the completion of the primary products.

EXPECTED RESULT OF THE PROJECT

As a result of the project, two new ÖÖD products will be completed and the development of the third new product will begin:

  1. ÖÖD larger hotel room
  2. ÖÖD larger sauna house
  3. ÖÖD autonomous house

A development project can be considered complete when both new products have been developed, tested, and thoroughly post-analyzed and repaired.

Product Development Program

Factory building solutions offered on the market focus on the B2C customer segment. However, in the ÖÖD company, we have noticed great interest in factory buildings from the B2B segment as well. The latter is based on the United States market.

PROJECT’S GOAL

ÖÖD wants to develop and design a module-based ÖÖD mirror house (hereinafter ÖÖD Modular) for B2B customers in the United States as part of product development. The mirror house based on modules allows the building to be “personalized” more than before and the rooms can be “grown” as the business grows.

ÖÖD Modular customers are:

  • Medical offices (dental and eye clinics, orthopedics, beauty therapy, occupational health care, health check-ups, etc.);
  • Representative shops and stores (showrooms);
  • Cafes and restaurants;
  • Accommodation and sports centers;
  • Art and culture (exhibitions, ticket sales, museums).

The main challenges of the ÖÖD product development project will be construction-technical:

  • How to create modular solutions from buildings based on steel, aluminum, and glass;
  • Development of constructive solutions;
  • How to lift and transport larger modules;
  • Ensure flexibility, as a result of which it would be possible to build houses on-site and off-site;
  • How to synchronize modern design and the practical needs of customers.

EXPECTED RESULT OF THE PROJECT

As a result of the project, a new ÖÖD product will be completed:

  • ÖÖD Modular House

A development project can be considered complete when the new product has been developed, tested, and thoroughly post-analyzed and repaired.
