There are two ways to acquire an ÖÖD Signature house: through county-level permitting or by choosing our new ÖÖD mobile solution for the unit. The ÖÖD mobile is available in all states today, with the exception of Washington and Nebraska.

Our brand new ÖÖD mobile unit is an ÖÖD Signature House designed to meet Park Model RV standards. ÖÖD mobile looks and feels exactly like our Signature House, but helps accelerate the process of permitting. The wheels of the unit can easily be removed and with the usual landscaping around the unit, it would blend seamlessly into any environment.

FAQ

ÖÖD mobile unit is the ÖÖD Signature house on wheels. The house has its unique mirror-glass facade and beautifully minimalistic interior finishes. Once the unit is set at its location, it looks exactly like the original ÖÖD Signature mirror house.

ÖÖD mobile unit is classified as Park Model RV and is built and certified according to the ANSI A119.5 2020 ED code.

The only difference between the ÖÖD Signature unit and the ÖÖD mobile unit is the wheels underneath the unit. Otherwise, the unit looks exactly like our Signature house.

Once the unit arrives on site, it is leveled on the ground. The exact foundation requirements are determined by local jurisdiction. The wheels and the tow bar of the chassis can be removed for a nice terrace to be built around the house.

The ÖÖD mobile mirror house is designed to meet Park Model RV standards. Permits required for water, waste and electricity connections are determined by local jurisdiction.

ÖÖD mobile unit is not designed to be driven around. If need be, it can be easily relocated.

Yes! From volcanos in Iceland to beaches in Tulum, this tiny home can handle any climate. Insulated glass combined with radiant floor heating will keep you warm on the coldest winter morning. Mirrored glass that reflects 97% of UV rays will provide a cool haven in the hottest desert.

Birds often cannot recognize windows or mirrors and therefore might hurt themselves. To prevent that from happening, we use UV film stickers on all ÖÖD houses. These stickers reflect ultraviolet light, which is visible to birds, but not visible to the human eye. When light is reflected from the mirror glass birds understand there is an object on their way and change their direction. Our goal has always been to blend into nature without hurting it.
